HIIT Fitness - Spring (Online)

HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. For this class, we will be using a 50 second intense period followed by 10 second rest period. The class is a 5X4 meaning four different intervals repeated five times. You will need a set of hand weights, a mat, and a chair (sometimes). Instructor: Janet Jonson, ACE Group Fitness Instructor.
