HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, (Tuesdays) is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. For this class, we will be using a 50-second intense period followed by a 10-second rest period. The class is a 5X4 meaning four different intervals repeated five times. You will need a set of hand weights, a mat, and a chair (sometimes).

Effective weight training depends on proper technique. This class is designed to strengthen and tone the upper and lower body using proper and safe techniques.
